May 3rd & 4th, Our group will be assisting at the
Best Friends Super Adoption at Petco on River Road in St. George. Last December 1100 animals were placed at this event.
May 18th & 19th, Our group is hosting NAFA
(North American Flyball Association)

FFCK9S Beginner & Clicker Training Dog Training Classes Begin Weds., March6 at 4:45PM to 6PM Classes will be every Weds. at the same time for 6 weeks. Sorry but we cannot take new dogs in this class after the first class. The fee for this class is $30.

Wednesday, April 25, 2012 Parks and Recreation Advisory Committee 12:30 PM City Council Chambers. We will be asking for their recommendation and assistance in locating an area for a trial dog park, suggesting the implementation of pet waste signs, and updating them on our progress as a group thus far.
Cedar City Animal Control was also in attendance at this event and offered licensing to pets.
This event was a success.

Dog Meet Up at the Main Street Park. All dogs must be on a leash. This is a perfect way to socialize and meet members of the group and their pets and to find out what type of events you would like to see or be involved in. Every dog should be wearing their yellow
"I Support" bandannas. If your dog doesn't have a bandanna yet, they will be available for those signing up for membership.

Scoop the Poop Campaign. We will be meeting at the Canyon Trail at 10AM, move on to Canyon Park, and if time permits, be moving on to Bicentennial Park. Bring your scoop and garbage bags. We will be picking up the messes left behind and handing out
fliers about the importance of picking up after pets. We do not recommend bringing dogs to this event.
